Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic HR Manager to oversee all aspects of human resources practices and processes within the organisation. The HR Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy, managing employee relations, recruitment, performance management, training and development, and ensuring compliance with relevant employment laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic HR Planning: Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with GHI’s overall business strategy.
- Recruitment and Talent Acquisition: Oversee the recruitment process, including sourcing, interviewing, and hiring qualified candidates.
- Employee Relations: Serve as a point of contact for employee relations issues and provide guidance and support to managers and employees.
- Performance Management: Develop and implement performance management processes to ensure performance expectations are clearly communicated and met.
- Training and Development: Identify training and development needs and design and deliver programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
- Compensation and Benefits: Manage employee compensation and benefits programs, including salary administration, benefits administration, and payroll processing.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant employment laws and regulations and maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in legislation.
- HR Administration: Oversee HR administrative tasks, such as maintaining employee records, managing HRIS and preparing reports.
- Bridging management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues.
- Nurture and implement a positive working environment.
- Design and implement employee retention strategies.
Qualifications:
- Master’s/Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
- A minimum of three years of experience in a Human Resources role is required.
- Proven experience in employee relations, performance management, and recruitment.
- Strong knowledge of HR practices, labour laws, and regulations.
- Proficiency in HR software applications.
- Excellent organisational, multitasking, and time management skills.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
