Dayo Alaide
Board Member
Dayo Olaide is an international development professional with significant experience in project design, grant making, fundraising, advocacy, stakeholder engagement, and strategy development. He has led proposal writings, fundraising, and grant applications across diverse themes – girls’ secondary education, gender-based violence, gender and social inclusion, maternal health, community engagement, natural resource governance, elections, transparency, participation, and accountability. Mr Olaide has experience collaborating with government, civil society, the private sector, academia, and media. He trains, mentors, and advises nonprofit leaders and board members in proposal design, advocacy, and fundraising as a consultant, board advisor, and volunteer board member. He holds an MA in Development Studies and an MBA in Accounting and Finance.
He is the current Deputy Director Nigeria of MacArthur Foundation.
